Dog Safe comes to Parkview

Kym from Dog Safe came to school last Thursday. She and Jake gave us some great advice on being safe around dogs and their general care. 

Remember:

1) Always ask the owner before you approach a new dog. 

2) Make your hand into a rock shape. 

3) Tickle chin or chest area. 

4) Direct eye contact for some dogs is a no-no. They see it as a threat. 

5) Never ever tease a dog.
